Eden Hazard sat out Belgium’s friendly on Tuesday against Japan — the Red Devils won 1-0 on a Romelu Lukaku goal that made the former Chelsea prospect Belgium’s all-time leading goalscorer (with 31) at the ripe old age of 24 — but should be good to go for the weekend.
Eden Hazard (knock) followed Belgium-Japan from the sidelines, but he’s expected to be fit against West Brom. Just precaution. #cfc pic.twitter.com/ZHl5outsUZ

Hazard had been training separately over the weekend as he looked to recover from a couple knocks he received in the “friendly” against Mexico, but was back in full training on Monday and his non-participation on Tuesday was purely a precaution, which is music to my ears and should be to yours as well.
Don’t follow me then. He trained on Monday without any issues.

We have no worries about Kristof’s credibility; he’s proven to be one of the most reliable journalists on Twitter over the past several years.
Despite this minor scare and a similar situation with Álvaro Morata’s toenail last week, Chelsea look to have survived the international break without picking up any major injuries — this is also assuming that the issues reported last week for David Luiz and Tiemoué Bakayoko will prove similarly minor.
With Moses set to return soon as well, it looks like we just might be able to tackle the scary and busy winter months ahead with a full squad. It all begins on Saturday, away at the Hawthorns.
