FIFA 18 predicts AS Roma vs. Chelsea

Simulating and playing Chelsea’s next Champions League match on FIFA 18. Can the virtual Blues beat virtual Roma?

In this series, I will use FIFA 18 to simulate as well as play the next Chelsea FC match -- with the difficulty on the highest level, because much like Chelsea FC, I occasionally like to make things difficult on myself for no reason whatsoever.

The Champions League returns, and so does the draw maestro himself, me.

My shot at glory (with commentary):

For the starting lineup I have the following:

Courtois | Cahill, Luiz, Azpilicueta | Alonso, Fabregas, Bakayoko, Zappacosta | Hazard, Morata, Pedro

I’m mad, frustrated, and disgruntled. Every time I feel secure with three points in this series, I feel like the computer goes from legendary to “beat Josh”. I’m wild with fury and anger, nevertheless enjoy the gameplay everyone.

Computer Simulation:

The simulated lineup is the same as above. This episode was another instance in which the simulation made me feel a bit better about my result. The simulation showed some pretty good insight into this matchup and worth the watch.

Chelsea and Roma’s defensive fortitude seems to overwhelm the offensive production that was on display in the first matchup. If the simulation is indicative of an actual result, we may be happy with a draw.

Let us know what you think of this feature and FIFA 18 in general in the comments!
