How should Chelsea line up against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday?

Another short rest for Chelsea between the midweek Cup game the league encounter against AFC Bournemouth, but thanks to a good bit of squad rotation, the Blues should be fairly fresh and ready to tackle this one. To wit, the players who started on Wednesday only had a short recovery session on Thursday, but the rest of the squad, mostly first-team players and including N’Golo Kante, got in a full session.

Whether Kante should start against the Cherries is another matter entirely, especially considering that the next two games, away to Roma and at home to Manchester United, will presumably be a fair bit tougher and more pivotal. Others who had been nursing injuries of varying severity include David Luiz, Tiemoue Bakayoko, and Danny Drinkwater should be available for selection as well.

The only confirmed absentee for this game is Victor Moses, who’s not expected to be back until after the international break.

Choose wisely.
