Chelsea TV’s training ground report for Monday didn’t reveal anything specific or definitive about the fitness of Marcos Alonso or David Luiz, but the pair were spotted walking out with the rest of the squad for the day’s training activities, so the safe assumption that can be made is ... well ... that they are in the frame for possible selection against Spurs on Wednesday. That doesn’t mean that they will play, though we haven’t heard too many negative prognostications in that regard other than Alonso’s post-match Snapchat, which revealed that he was getting some post-match treatment, but nothing else beyond that.

Conte will no doubt be asked about the squad’s fitness in today’s press conference (scheduled for 1pm local time), though just as before when Matić had to miss a game with injury, I doubt that the boss will be too forthcoming with any actual information. Keep them guessing, and keep us guessing.
I do have a hunch that both Alonso and David Luiz will be just fine come kick-off time on Wednesday at White Hart Lane.
