CRISIS OVER.
ROW UNBLAZED.
Or something.
Was there a crisis?
Who knows.
Here’s Diego Costa (or his social media manager) posting a photo on Instagram, with a simple caption (“Come on Chelsea!!!”) and a simple little blue emoji. A blue heart. Once a Blue, always a Blue, right Diego?
And all was well with the world. Let’s not debate the finer points of a missing comma in that caption.
So, for the next few hours, we can rest assured that Diego Costa’s got nothing but love for Chelsea and all this nonsense over a BLAZING ROW, all this nonsense over his injury — is he injured? is he not injured? what is an injury? what is, “is”? is anyone ever really not injured? we are all dying from the day we’re born, are we not? — all this nonsense over Chinese millions and billions and trillions and googolplexes is just that, nonsense.
I’m sure this won’t be the final word on this fun(ny) little diversion, not by a long-shot, but maybe now we can start worrying about the actual game kicking off in less than 24 hours.
