Sneaky, sneaky Pedro.

It was supposed to be Academy Day, not former Barcelona Star Day!

Then again, Pedro played left wing(-back, theoretically), so he probably deserves a few bonus points just for having to try his luck at a brand new position at 29.5 years of age.

Plus, the two goals of course, which really should've been three, and an assist, too.  Well done, Pedro!

If I told you that this was Ruben Loftus-Cheek's 25th Chelsea first-team appearance, would you believe me?  What if I told you that he finally passed 1000 competitive minutes played as a first-team professional for the club?  (He might've actually done that in his previous appearance.)  But nevermind that, he even looked on course for just his fourth ever full 90-minute appearance of his career, but then Terry got himself sent off, and so that opportunity left the pitch as well.

That said, it's been a while since RLC looked as good as he did in this one.  Then again, we've known for some time that he's better than League One level.

Whether Ruben stays with the team the rest of the season or goes out on loan should be decided pretty soon one might imagine.  Hopefully it's the former, assuming he can reproduce this showing in later rounds of the FA Cup as well.

3. WILLIAN 7.9

I was pretty certain this was going to be Nathaniel Chalobah, but Willian the Brillian just edged out Nate the Great by about half a point for third spot.

It's not often that we think of Willian as the creative fulcrum of the team, but deployed in a sort of second-striker/free-radical role, flitting in and out and all around Michy Batshuayi, Willian was exactly that.

There was of course plenty of joy to be had against the visitors from League One, who decided to go out the "honorable" way and not worry too much about proper bus-parking, but you can only beat what's in front of you, and on this day, Willian was instrumental in Chelsea's domination of The Posh.

Begović (7.1), Cahill (7.0), Terry (5.7), Zouma (6.8), Pedro (8.9), Loftus-Cheek (8.0), Chalobah (7.8), Fàbregas (7.8), Ivanović (6.4), Batshuayi (7.6), Willian (7.9)

Aina (6.6), Azpilicueta (6.8), Kanté (7.0)
