Chelsea striker Loïc Rémy joined Premier League side Crystal Palace with hopes of a fresh start to his ailing career following a season in which he struggled to feature on the pitch, mostly as a result of injury issues. Unfortunately, Rémy didn't get a break from these problems at the Selhurst Park, as he will be returning to Cobham to treat a thigh injury that will set him aside for a few weeks.
"Unfortunately, Loïc got injured on Monday and the seriousness of that, I don't know. But he's not going to be involved this weekend, so it's a bit of a blow. He's just got a little thigh strain. I don't know how long he's out for, but he's had a scan on Tuesday morning and I'll know more today."

It's truly an unlucky happening for the Frenchman, who had been at his loan club for only nine days before his return. Hopefully his treatment at Chelsea will put him back on track to be a regular under Pardew this season.
