Arsenal vs. Chelsea, Premier League: Half-time report

For the third straight match, and for the first time since 2002, Chelsea had fallen behind 2-0.  Another horrendous individual mistake from Gary Cahill gifted the opener to Arsenal, who then immediately scored a rather great goal as well because they are Arsenal and they score great goals.  The insult of a third goal came from Ozil, who mis-hit his shot into the ground and yet it still looped over Courtois and in off the post for Chelsea's third.  That Ozil started that counter by absolutely destroying Kante with a great turn is all that we need to know about this one, I think.

Chelsea have had a couple moments of promise, but Willian shot went inches wide and Costa, for all his effort, has been crowded out by several red shirts every single time.  Hazard has shirked from the challenge, Fabregas has been anonymous, Matic lost, Kanté subpar, and that's before we get to the defense, where it's a tough call to figure out whether the full backs or the center backs have been the worse.

Time for a three-goal comeback against all odds?
