Anyone who’s followed an injured Chelsea player recently on social media should be familiar with the magic kinetic recovery pool by now.
John Terry is the latest player unfortunate enough to be needing a dip as he recovers from strained ankle ligaments.
It would appear that they are working well, as head coach Antonio Conte confirmed that the Captain was able to complete a training session earlier today.
“John strained the ligament of his ankle, the doctor told me after 10 days he could be available to come back. He is working very hard and today he had a training session to recover.”

While tomorrow’s game comes far too soon for JT’s ankle, and he was always likely to be rested for the League Cup match on Tuesday just as he was in the previous round, I think we can feel optimistic that Terry will be back in time for next weekend’s trip to Arsenal.
