Chelsea's acquisition of Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina back in January 2015 made a lot of sense at the time. With the Blues leading the battle for the Premier League title but lacking depth on the wings after Andre Schurrle and Mohamed Salah left, Cuadrado was an optimal choice, although at a sub-optimal price, to fill the void that would open in case Willian went down with injury.
One and a half years later, this transfer is regarded as an egregious mistake. Few players have disappointed in a Chelsea shirt as much as Cuadrado has on the pitch. Given his salary and price tag, Chelsea have had to resort to creative solutions to at least offset the financial impact, letting Juventus lease Cuadrado once again after spending the last season on loan with them as well.
At least Cuadrado is happy.
"It was exciting to see. To see the stands and the noise the fans make, I'm excited by the public's support. I did everything to come back, and thanks to God I'm here. I'm very happy. As before, I’m looking forward to getting back to business, working hard, improving my game and giving my all for the team."

It's unfortunate that Cuadrado seemingly didn't put in the same amount of effort during his time at Chelsea. In any case, best of luck to him and may his honeymoon with Juve last a long while.
