Following erroneous reports from SportItalia, which claimed that Chelsea had offered Cesc Fàbregas to AC Milan, Milan TV have set the record straight today. The approach was in fact made in the other direction, but Fàbregas made it perfectly clear to them that he’s keen on staying with Chelsea.
Milan TV claim Milan made contact with Fabregas, but the player wants to remain at Chelsea.

Three days ago, AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani had told the media that his team were done for the transfer window after acquiring Croatian midfielder Mario Pasalic from Chelsea on a season-long loan deal. It would appear that Rossoneri broke that self-imposed deadline with this inquiry, perhaps encouraged by rumors of discord between Fàbregas and Conte.
Unfortunately for them, convincing the Spaniard to make a switch from England to Italy is no easy task, especially in light of Cesc’s response on social media to such rumors.
Contrary to what has been written, the manager and I have a good relationship and he has NEVER told me that I can leave. He said that he counts on me, as I count on him. I will continue to fight for this club until the very end and when called upon I will always give my very best. I'm fully committed to @chelseafc and my only goal is to help them win more trophies. #ChelseaFC
It's deadline day, and rumours like these are bound to pop up and spread like wildfire. But as it stands, there's absolutely no need to worry: Fàbregas will remain a Chelsea player this season.
