Official: Chelsea's Lucas Piazon joins Fulham on half-season loan

Staying in West London

In his fourth year at Chelsea, attacking midfielder Lucas Piazon will now enter the fifth loan stint in his career. The club confirmed today that the Brazilian has joined local rivals Fulham Football Club on a season-long loan.

So Piazon heads back to the Championship, where he spent last season as well in the colors of Reading, sharing the pitch with another Chelsea loanee, Michael Hector, who's now at Eintracht Frankfurt — a club that Piazon played for during the 2014-15 season. Round and round we go. At the Madejski Stadium, the 22-year-old Piazon made 27 appearances across all competitions, scoring 5 goals in 1,540 minutes of playing time.

Fulham are currently managed by former Chelsea midfielder Slavisa Jokanovic and are off to a good start in the second division, sitting second after five round with three wins and two draws. Fellow Chelsea loanee Tomas Kalas has started all five games for the Cottagers.

Best of luck, Lucas!
