After being off the air for the first time in 19 months in the second round of the EFL Cup, Chelsea will re-enter the modern age in the third round of the competition, thanks to the generosity of Sky Sports, who have deemed the matchup of the last two Premier League champions worthy of live cameras.

The match will still take place on Tuesday, September 20, at 7:45pm, but now it will be in front of a live, global TV audience.
For Chelsea, the match will come between a Friday Night Lights match against Liverpool at the Bridge and a Saturday trip across town to Arsenal. For Leicester, who by then will be heavily involved in Champions League matches, too, this game will serve as distraction between a home match against Burnely and trip to Old Trafford. Chances are, neither team will use their first-choice lineups, though the all-Premier League clash should still be intriguing enough.
The other televised match of the round will be Northampton Town vs. Manchester United, which will take place the following day.
