Superhero performances produce three points

Batman, #CostaCrimes, and Cescual Healing delivered supernatural performances in the closing minutes at Vicarage Road to will Chelsea to victory. @LondonBluePod reviewed the match with outgoing Chelsea Supporters Chair, Tim Rolls.

@LondonBluePod is Brandon Busbee (@bbbusbee), Dan Dormer (@dandormer), and Nick Verlaney (@nickverlaney), three diehard Chelsea fans that meet weekly to discuss the happenings of all things Blue.

There's plenty to unpack after Conte's first away win in charge of Chelsea. We invited Tim Rolls (@tim_rolls), outgoing chair of the Chelsea Supporters Trust, to join us in conversation around the match, in addition to an update on the important issues being tackled by the trust.

We also examined what transfer business is left to conduct – both the names we're being linked with and who we'll realistically sign. (Seriously, how do we replace Djilobodji with less than ten days left in the window?!)

Housekeeping:
  • We're available on iTunes! If you're enjoying the show, a review would be appreciated! It helps connect us with other Blues across the world!
  • You can also find us on StitcherSoundCloud, or via a direct download, if that's your jam. Now we're also available on Google Play!
  • We're also on Facebook! We have a Facebook group in which we're discussing the transfer news of silly season!
  • Congrats to Tina from Alabama! You're the winner in our jersey giveaway with World Soccer Shop. The first was so successful that we'll be running another soon. Maybe closer to the weekend? Hint-hint.
This week's topics:
  • How do we describe our feelings for Costa in a word?
  • What does it feel like to be among the undefeated giants like Manchester United, Manchester City, and... Hull City?
  • What transfer business can we realistically expect to close prior to the deadline?
