Chelsea Academy Player of the Year signs well-deserved four-year contract extension

Fikayo Tomori's best 2016 calendar year of all time continued this week as the 18-year-old center back signed a new four-year contract extension with Chelsea.  Tomori, who recently switched to England from Canada at the youth international level but also remains eligible for Nigeria, has been with Chelsea since the U8 level.

Tomori was named the club's Academy Player of the Year in May, shortly after winning the UEFA Youth League and making his senior debut.  He's currently with the first-team in America, though he's yet to make an appearance on the tour.  Perhaps in the final game, against AC Milan on Wednesday?

One to keep an eye in the next few years!
