Picking up right where he left off -- he won three of the last four Man of the Match awards last season -- Eden Hazard once again looked like one of the best players not just in the Premier League, but [DEEP BOOMING VOICE] in the whole world!
Perhaps Eden himself put it the best in his post-match interview, descending into a bit of third-person Zlatanisms:
Welcome back, Eden at the top. Hope to never see you again, Eden from last season.

Another player showing signs of being back to his best, Diego Costa scored only one goal, but did complete the Diego Costa hat-trick. Like the famous Gordie Howe hat-trick in hockey (goal, assist, fight), the Costa hat-trick consists of a goal, a yellow card, and a CostaCrime.
The goal itself was a collector's item -- have you ever seen Costa score from outside the box?! -- but then we had the yellow card for dissent (a rule he apparently was not aware of) and a brutal, horror, scandalous, shocking, mortifying, all the hyperbole in the world couldn't possibly describe, late tackle on Adrian, the West Ham goalkeeper.
Just another day in office for "The Guv'nor".

A good debut for Chelsea's most important summer signing, I think we can all agree.
Unless you're Neil Ashton, formerly of the Daily Mail, now of The Sun.
