Defending Premier League champions Leicester City look to be preparing for a future devoid of at least one key piece to their puzzle. N'Golo Kante has not shied away from the possibility of leaving Leicester after just one season, even after the Foxes had supposedly tendered an offer with a six-figure wage packet.
Most recent rumors on that front claim that he's leaning towards Chelsea, which is unexpected, surprising, and also wonderful. But there are many suitors, as much of Europe's elite could no doubt use such a midfield force as Kante.
Meanwhile, Leicester have acted swiftly and decisively, and signed a player who sounds every bit the new N'Golo Kante for them.
Welcome to Leicester, Nampalys 'Papy' Mendy!

In fact, if both were to stay at the club, it might be completely unfair to the rest of the league.
Leicester will be able to play with 6 strikers not arsed to defend next season without being inbalanced with Mendy and Kanté in midfield.

That doesn't sound good for others. It's Chelsae's civic duty then to step in and level the playing field. But we must act fast. Pre-season is right around the corner, as is the line for N'Golo Kante.
