The friendly to help inaugurate the brand new CSKA Stadium, featuring Chelsea Football Club and CSKA Moscow has yet to be confirmed officially, but after last month's initial reports, we now have a date set for it (but no kick-off time just yet).

With the Premier League set to start the following weekend, this match on Sunday, August 7th will most likely be the sixth and final warm-up match for Chelsea ahead of the new season. It will bring to a close a rather hectic two-week period that will see Chelsea play four matches and at the same time traverse half the globe from Moscow, ID to Moscow, Russia. (Obviously Chelsea won't be in Idaho — who would want to go there anyway? — but there is no Moscow, CA.)
Chelsea's full pre-season schedule as we know it at the moment:
Saturday, July 16, 17:00 BST: vs. Rapid Vienna in Wien, Austria
Wednesday, July 20, 20:00 BST: vs. RZ Pellets WAC in Klagenfurt, Austria
Wednesday, July 28, 11pm EDT: vs. Liverpool in Pasadena, CA, USA
Saturday, July 30, 3pm EDT: vs. Real Madrid in Ann Arbor, MI, USA
Wednesday, August 3, 9pm EDT: vs. AC Milan in Minneapolis, MN, USA
Sunday, August 7: vs. CSKA Moscow in Moscow, Russia
It's almost here. Two weeks to go!
