It's a good thing Chelsea didn't sign Michy Batshuayi for his surfing skills

And now, new Chelsea signing Michy Batshuayi kisses his pro surfing career goodbye.  Here he attempts that most crucial of first steps, staying on the board.

I guess I will never ever have a pro surfer career ....

That's two seconds, if you're counting.  Not even the safety rope helped.  Do note the perfect form on the extra roll, helpful in all manner of critical situations.  Diego Costa would be proud.

Batshuayi has not been shy about engaging all his new fans on Twitter, and here he reveals that while he finally managed to stay on the board after 5-6 tries, it did, in fact, get worse at one point.

Either way, it looks like Batshuayi is enjoying his vacation in Ibiza.  As long as he doesn't hurt himself with his FlowRider antics...
