Emanuele Giaccherini has put himself front and center of the Euro 2016 shop window, scoring a goal against Belgium and showing glimpses of just why Antonio Conte had given him plenty of opportunities at both Juventus and the Italian national team over the past several years.

Conte did agree to sell the versatile midfielder in 2013, and while that move to Sunderland didn't work out at all, the 31-year-old is hoping to get another crack at the Premier League.  Here's his agent, trying his best to get certain key parties interested.

"Giaccherini is a player that played 80 percent of the games for Juventus in a midfield with Paul Pogba, Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and Claudio Marchisio."

"Conte likes him a lot and Chelsea would be a dream. It's still too early to talk about his future. After the Euros, whoever wants to buy him will not have to pay a high fee to Sunderland."

If you squint the right way, Giaccherini does seem to have a pretty decent resume, certainly one that goes above and beyond his general reputation.  Is that enough to get Chelsea interested?  While it would make sense for Conte to approve such a move, even a cut-rate deal for Giaccherini seems like a waste of time, money, and opportunities for others as far as Chelsea should be concerned.
