Eden Hazard's late season renaissance continued with another strong performance.  He now has four Man of the Match awards for the season, coming in two sets of back-to-back performances.

The previous two performances came way back in November, when it looked like Hazard was finally ready to begin the season.  Alas, injuries struck and then Mourinho was fired and it all came crashing down.  Five months later, we're back to where we started.  And now the season's almost over.

Alas.

Can't even remember the last time Matić was on the player ratings podium.  2-0 vs. Porto at home maybe?  No, that's not it.   Though that was the last time he outperformed the team average.  Once a common occurrence for both him and Hazard, now a rarity.

Welcome back, Nemanja Matić?  No, that's not it either.

Fresh rumors linking the Spiderbeast with a move away from Stamford Bridge surfaced recently, and it would hardly be surprising if they proved to be true eventually.  That said, the only future prognostication that Matić has done recently was to basically confirm that John Terry will be leaving us in the summer.

3. DIEGO COSTA - FC 5.9

Lovely goal from Diego, for his 16th of the season.  Not quite last season's output, but after his own horrendous start, it's really not all that terrible.

As with most of the squad, Costa's future isn't 100% clear.  But he's one of the few people in the squad who seems to give his all more often than not (certainly in the second half of the season), and while Traoré is a promising backup and Pato is a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day, Costa is the business.
