Eden Hazard and Charly Musonda Jr, together in the same team is an idea that's liable to quicken pulses and weaken knees. Is that a bit of drool in the corner of your mouth? Understandable.
So when Charly hops on Instagram and posts something like this, hearts may skip a few beats.
"Soon playing together, mad duo pending..." writes the 19-year-old in three languages. And there's lighting and fire ... and Belgium flag. So he probably means the Belgium national team, rather than Chelsea. Which is not nearly as exciting, even if it is a deserved call-up for the kid, who's been impressing since joining Real Betis on loan in January.
Musonda looks set to stay in La Liga for another season to continue his development away form the instability and inherent resistance towards using our own youth prospects at Chelsea. Seeing Musonda in action with Hazard & Co at Euro 2016 is something to look forward to this summer though.
