Eden Hazard and Ruben Loftus-Cheek reveal the real Chelsea 2016-17 home kit

Well, the last round of kit leaks were, unsurprisingly and unfortunately, true. As were the rumors of the official reveal happening on May 4th. Chelsea TV, with the help of Eden Hazard and Ruben Loftus-Cheek took to Facebook for the big occasion.

The general reaction to said leaks was overwhelmingly negative. Fortunately, the kits do look a little better in real life, probably because the shirt color itself is a slightly darker blue. But the bigger "tonal" lions are very much there and when the camera zooms in, it all becomes a fair bit worse. And I still don't understand why the sleeves don't have a white trim to match the collar (which I actually like). For now, the sponsor remains "Yokohama TYRES" but if the leaks are true, the TYRES part will come off next season.

The shirts will be worn in the final home game against Leicester City in eleven days' time and can already be pre-ordered of course. BUY BUY BUY!

UPDATE: And here's the new goalkeeper shirt. You might want to put some sunglasses on.
