John Terry's future at Chelsea is very much up in the air at the moment. The club have offered him a new one year contract but according to Terry it involves "a different role" and he's still considering it.
Unfortunately, he was suspended for the last match of the season at Stamford Bridge for receiving a red card against Sunderland a week ago. That didn't stop Chelsea fans from paying tribute to their longtime captain in many different ways. Plenty of banners could be seen in the stadium in honor of the club legend, as seen here:

As is tradition, in the 26th minute, fans came to their feet and roared a giant voice of support for him by singing his name.

And by holding up #26 cards, like so:

No one is quite sure if this will be the last time John Terry graces Stamford Bridge as a Chelsea player or not, but this doesn't look like a man expecting to step on this pitch again:

He addressed the crowd after the final whistle with a speech. The word's "we'll be back" were uttered. He likely means Chelsea will be back as Premier League competitors, but maybe it's a double meaning? We can only hope...

Now it's time to sit back and watch this saga continue to unfold and hope something changes his or the club's mind. If it is indeed the end of the road, it was a very fond and memorable send off for the captain.
