The on-camera portion of Guus Hiddink's press conference this afternoon seemed to address just about every topic, other than the most obvious ones related to the game tomorrow at Anfield. How we can not get basic information like injuries and other team news is beyond me, but whatever.
Fortunately, Chelsea TV have come to the rescue. And their afternoon headlines include news about a trio of injuries.
@GrantJames_CFC Not in the press conference but Costa out of both games, Ivanovic out of Liverpool, Pedro has a broken nose so has a mask.

Diego Costa picked up some sort of (upper leg?) injury that will keep him out of the last two games ("I would be surprised if he made the last game", says Hiddink). Branislav Ivanovic's injury that forced him to come off against Sunderland just as that game was turning on its head will also keep him out of at least Wednesday's game. He "could be" back for Sunday. Meanwhile, Pedro, who was not involved over the weekend, becomes the latest Chelsea player to suffer a broken nose and thus be fitted with a mask. Proper Chels, Pedro. He's not expected to miss any (more) time.
Last time we had multiple injuries and suspensions, Hiddink actually chose to play some youth. (He also played Mikel at center back that one time, which was hopefully just a one-off thing.) Either way, the lineup for Wednesday night just became more interesting.
