Chelsea have announced the finalists for the club's 2015-16 Goal of the Season award. It's been a rough season on all fronts for the Blues, but we have been treated to some fantastic goals. Here are the six that the club has picked as finalists for the end of season award:
Nemanja Matic's blast vs. Everton
Matic has had a dreadful season, even by his own admission, but he did have this piece of individual magic against Everton. This is a strike and a half. More of this and less of all the other stuff, please.
Diego Costa's side-footed volley vs. Maccabi Tel Aviv
You won't see many finishes better than this Costa effort. Just top class all the way around. No goalkeeper in the world is saving that.
Ramires' rocket vs. Newcastle United
Our old pal Ramires is gone but not forgotten. His long range strike into the top corner is a nominee for the award. A great goal.
Willian's impossible free kick vs. Southampton
David who? Willian went on an amazing run of free kick goals in the middle of the season. This was just one of many terrific set piece goals from the Brazilian.
Willian's top corner golazo vs. Crystal Palace
Pick. That. Out. Willian's second tally on the list is a smash into the top corner on the first touch. That's an incredibly difficult strike and he made it look routine.
Bertrand Traore's left-footed drive vs. Stoke City
The youngster, Bertrand Traore, finally got some much-deserved playing time this season after some injury and performance woes by others. He took advantage of his minutes with a few goals. This was the pick of the lot, for sure.
