Aston Villa vs. Chelsea, Premier League: Confirmed lineups

Alex Morton/Getty Images

On Saturday, the Blues will move one step closer to the merciful end of the 2015/16 campaign. Chelsea still have the slightest bit of hope that they could finish in the final Europa League place, but unless they win out and everything breaks in their direction, that hope is very unlikely to become reality.

The relative meaninglessness of Saturday's fixture combined with injury, and international break, and suspension have led to a somewhat rotated lineup from Guus Hiddink. Here's who he went with on Saturday:

Starting XI: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Miazga, Baba; Mikel, Fabregas; Pedro, Loftus-Cheek, Kenedy; Remy

Bench: Begovic, Jake Clarke-Salter, Matic, Oscar, Traore, Pato, Falcao

Meanwhile, Aston Villa, whose days in the Premier League are most definitely coming to and end, have decided to go with the following:

Starting XI: Guzan, Hutton, Richards, Lescott, Cissokho, Sanchez, Westwood, Gana, Gil, Ayew, Gestede

Bench: Okore, Bacuna, Sinclair, Veretout, Bunn, Lyden, Grealish
