|1. RUBEN LOFTUS-CHEEK - AMC, MC||5.9|
As the season slowly draws to a most welcome close, Ruben Loftus-Cheek is just about the only reason to be still excited that there are five games still to go. That's provided that Hiddink continues to start him of course.
If you haven't seen yet, be sure to check out the great FanPost that highlights RLC's development over the past 11-12 months. More regular playing time, please!
It's important to remember that even though he's been factoring into our thinking for at least three years, Loftus-Cheek is still just 20 years old. He will make mistakes, he hill have plenty of room for improvement. But that's exactly why he has to play and right, there's literally zero drawback to giving him minutes.
|2. PEDRO - AML||5.7|
It's not been a great first season in Chelsea blue for the man who was billed as Barcelona's lucky talisman, but in fairness to him, he was one of the few "experienced players" who, at least for a little bit here and there, was applying himself and trying to affect the game.
Obviously he couldn't quite manage to affect it, but at least he was visibly trying and running and efforting. So that's something, I guess.
|3. THIBAUT COURTOIS - GK||5.3|
A bit unfortunate for T-BO that his day ended in his second red card of the season. At least there was no question about this one, unlike the one he got against Swansea City. Courtois knew straight away that he did something silly and stupid, but perhaps he was frustrated by having been hung out to dry all game long by his so-called defense and midfield.
We should not forget that he made several excellent saves as well, including many 1-v-1 against the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Samir Nasri.
Courtois (5.3), Baba (4.4), Ivanović (3.6), Cahill (3.6), Azpilicueta (4.8), Fàbregas (3.9), Mikel (3.5), Pedro (5.7), Loftus-Cheek (5.9), Willian (4.5), Costa (4.7)
Traoré (5.0), Kenedy (5.2), Begović (5.2)
