NO CHANCE:
Bayern and Barca. Anything else would be a huge upset. HUGE!
DARN TOOTIN' HORN-TOOTING:
So I tweeted this but I'll tell you about it as well because I'm way cool like that. Plus I know y'all don't follow me on Twitter, ya heartless mob. But when I went to Chelsea open training in Seattle in 2012, with a fresh faced Hazard, KDB, Di Matteo, et al. getting ready to bask in the afterglow of Mr. Big Ears, one of the things I noted was KDB's love of the long range shot. We saw that in the preseason friendlies as well. And we saw that yesterday, too.
Of course this hurts, because we could've had this. Probably. No guarantees that it all works out this well if he stays, and it's not like the intervening years have been incredibly terrible (I mean, we did win the Premier League in the meantime...), but hindsight's 20/20 and easy to get caught up in that negative spiral. I'm happy for Kevin, happy for City because [fun] PSG (David Luiz wasn't playing yesterday, so...) and it's not like anyone other than Bayern or Barca or Real are winning this thing anyway.
THEY DO OFTEN SAY FOOTBALL PLAYERS HAVE TO HAVE VERY SHORT MEMORIES:
Zidane: "You should not go crazy, as anything can happen in football. I never lost my head as a player, and will never do so as a coach."
