Chelsea are down, but not out, in their quest to win this season's Champions League. The Blues dropped the first leg of the tie, in Paris, against PSG by a 2-1 score. The good news? Chelsea scored a very valuable away goal. The bad news? They'll need a win tonight in order to advance, and if their defense isn't able to keep the visitors from scoring, they'll need to win by more than one goal, or try their luck in penalties.
With Chelsea's Premier League season going so horribly wrong, interim manager Guus Hiddink has been able to focus on the two remaining cups, resting regulars, and taking a look at promising youngsters like Kenedy and Bertrand Traore. He's chosen the following squad for the all-important tie, in which the Blues will need to push hard for a winner:
Chelsea starting lineup (4-2-3-1):
Thibaut Courtois | Kenedy, Branislav Ivanoic, Gary Cahill, Cesar Azpilicueta | John Obi Mikel, Cesc Fabregas | Pedro, Willian, Eden Hazard | Diego Costa
Substitutes from: Asmir Begovic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Baba Rahman, Nemanja Matic, Oscar, Bertrand Traore, Loic Remy
Meanwhile, Laurent Blanc has a few injury and behavioral issues to deal with, and has selected the following group:
PSG starting lineup (4-3-3):
Kevin Trapp | Maxwell, David Luiz, Thiago Silva, Marquinhos | Balise Matuidi, Thiago Motta, Adrien Rabiot | Angel Di Maria, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Lucas Moura
Substitutes from: Salvatore Sirigu, Javier Pastore, Edinson Cavani, Gregory Van der Weil, Layvin Kurzawa, Jean-Kevin Augustin, Benjamin Stambouli
