With Antonio Conte seemingly on the verge of taking over Chelsea's managerial post, plenty of rumours have flown around the media claiming that the potential new manager already has some players in mind for the next transfer window. One of them supposedly is Juventus striker Simone Zaza, who has scored 7 goals in a backup role (742 minutes) for The Old Lady this season.
Speaking to Tutto Juve, Zaza's agent Christian Manfredi said that there hasn't been any formal approaches from Chelsea for the player and that he remains focused on Juventus, although he's flattered by the Blues' potential interest on his client.
"I learned from the press of the rumours of Simone [Zaza] at Chelsea. I have nothing to declare at the official level, it is only a information that I read in the newspapers online."
"It's nice, of course, an approach by this great club but there are still a dozen games with the black and white jersey [of Juventus], which is the shirt that Simone is very attached. There will be the end of the season and there's still the Euros to be played; only then we will see if the market needs to be discussed."

So, just another transfer rumour that can be thrown in the trash can reserved for "Silly Season talks". Surprise! I guess we can continue the Nainggolan/Pjanic savouring now that this has been dealt with!
