Diego Costa once again 'considering' move back to the friendlier confines of La Liga

Another controversy, another transfer rumor.

This is not the first time we have heard about this kind of rumour and from the looks of it, this will not be the last either. According to ESPN sources, Spanish striker Diego Costa might be on the verge of leaving Chelsea to make a return to former club Atlético Madrid in the summer.

Why would he wants to do that?  ESPN reports that Costa hasn't adapted to London yet (or the English media, for that matter) despite having spent almost two years in the city, which would be a major factor.  Apparently Chelsea are also looking to bring in a new striker or two.  Plus, after Jackson Martínez's transfer to China, Atlético president Enrique Cerezo told Radio COPE that his team would look to bring Costa back into their fold.

Atlético, along with rivals Real Madrid, have had their FIFA transfer ban suspended and will be looking to use their resources on reinforcing the team while they can.

While Atlético can be expected to put a good effort on bringing back Costa to the club, it's unlikely that Chelsea will give up on Costa that easily. The reasons for his potential departure are also questionable; this is probably just the summer rumour mill starting off a bit early.
