Eden Hazard to Real Madrid is a 'done deal' — report

A Madrid-based French journalist named Frédéric Hermel did not tweet this out to almost 200,000 followers on Twitter, but the TV show on which he dropped this bombshell sure did.

That is, Hermel has been recently told that Eden Hazard to Real Madrid is a 'done deal'.  As far done as such things can get without any actual agreements between the two clubs.

Of course, the Hazard-to-Real Madrid story is hardly newsworthy at this point.  It's been rumored so many times, it's almost a self-fulfilling prophecy at this point.  Our friends over at Managing Madrid put the likelihood of it happening this summer at 50-50.

I suppose it's anyone's guess at this point what actually will happen.  There are many variables at play, though at this point it wouldn't surprise me if Hazard did end up leaving considering all the drama that has gone down this season and continues to go down almost every time he steps on the pitch in Chelsea colors.

I don't want him to leave, but I fear he's never been closer to a Chelsea exit than these upcoming next couple months.
