Last time on the will-they/won't-they drama of Chelsea and Antonio Conte, we had 'very positive' negotiations between the two sides in London, with rumors claiming that a signature (if not an actual announcement) was due within 10 days.
That was three days ago, leaving at least another week for further rumors of clandestine meetings and whisperings behind closed doors. The latest of those involves Roman Abramovich himself and at least the brother of Antonio Conte, Daniele, who is the coach's representative, though others claim Antonio will be there, too.
Both Abramovich and Conte's brother and representative, Daniele, are expected to gather in Monaco over the next two or three days in order to hash out the details of the deal. The ex-Juve boss is expected to sign a three-year contract worth €6.5 million per season.

I thought they were supposed to hash out the details last Thursday? What more is there to hash out? Apparently Abramovich has not met Conte yet, and the Chelsea owner just wants to take the measure of our next ex-manager in person. Look him directly in the eye and ask him his favorite color.
In further positive indications, Gazzetta claim that the Italian football federation have started looking for Conte's replacement as well, with ex-players Roberto Donadoni (currently doing great work with Bologna) and Fabio Cannavaro (currently doing a whole lot of nothing) the two favorites.
So, Chelsea and Conte, another step closer. Probably.
