Chelsea have been forced into an early change against Southampton on Saturday, as winger Pedro appeared to pick up a muscular injury (hamstring?) in his left leg just a few minutes after kick-off. He tried to continue for a couple minutes, but it was quite obvious that he needed to come off. He's been replaced by Oscar.
Pedro is down. He has been troubled by something for the last couple of minutes. Oscar is getting prepared. #CFCLive

So the Blues are forced into a change as early as the 7th minute. Oscar comes on for injured Pedro. #CFC

So that's rather disappointing and very badly timed. Pedro had been in great form, finally rediscovering and showing off the abilities that prompted Chelsea and Manchester United to both try to sign him this summer from Barcelona.
Hopefully it's nothing major, though hamstrings, as we know all to well, can be rather annoying. Get well soon, Pedro!
