Kurt Zouma in good spirits as he starts long road to recovery from successful ACL surgery

As we all should know by now, Kurt Zouma's middle name is Happy.  And while he may not care for it too much, it does seem to fit his general predisposition down to a T.  So here he is, Happy being happy on Instagram, after he returned home yesterday from Barcelona, which is where the operation was done.

(I thought the operation was last week, but maybe not?  Or maybe he stayed there for a week?  In either case...)

Zouma has quickly become a fan favorite and is a player who hopefully will grace our backline with his powerful combination of speed and strength for many years.  It's easy to forget that he is still just 21, with plenty of room to grow and increase his skills, especially in the mental aspects of the game.  Which, hopefully, he can resume doing in six months or so just as well as he had been prior to the devastating injury.
