Chelsea to celebrate four home draws on the bounce with free beer and fireworks

To help take your mind off the harsh realities...

I'm not sure if this is an annual event — I do recall fireworks on several occassion in recent years, but the free beer seems new — but if you show up early to Stamford Bridge for Saturday's 5:30pm kick-off, you get a free bottle of Singha beer.  Not exactly the most glamorous of all beers, but hey, free beer is free beer.  All you have to do is be over 18, enter the turnstiles between 3:30 and 4:30, and redeem your voucher by 5.  (Or you can grab a free bottle of water instead.)

Maybe we're just trying to channel some of Leicester City's carefree spirit?  Maybe the free Singha is the missing ingredient!

It's all part of a larger fan fest that will also include FIFA 16 booths and a fireworks display.  So even though Stamford Bridge has not witnessed a Premier League win in almost two months, at least we've got that going for us, which is nice.

For what it's worth, last time we had a similar streak — actually, it was even worse: starting with a 3-2 home loss to Manchester United under Roberto Di Matteo and ending in a 0-0 draw against Fulham three home games later under Interim management — we went on to spank relegation-threatened Aston Villa 8-0.
