BOOM goes the dynamite.  This one comes from Matt Law of the Telegraph.

Radamel Falcao is hoping to complete a shock return to Atletico Madrid after travelling to the Spanish capital today.

Spanish sources have told Telegraph Sport that Falcao has spent transfer deadline day in a Madrid hotel while his agent Jorge Mendes attempts to negotiate the complicated move with Atletico, Monaco and Chelsea.

Should Atletico fail to sign Falcao before the transfer window shuts tonight, then he could still move to Jiangsu Suning in the Chinese Super League, where the window remains open until February 26.

We have been expecting Loic Remy to leave this January, but maybe we'll get lucky and be able to get Falcao off the books and off the roster instead.  El Tigre has been alternating between being injured and being terrible for most of the past two years; any positive development with regards to him leaving the club could be a great way to wrap up this transfer window.
