It was just another amusing sidenote to Chelsea's 30-minute dismantling of Manchester City on Saturday early afternoon, as Pep Guardiola, after shaking hands with Antonio Conte and giving his former (adorable) player Pedro a hug, seemingly made it a point to ignore handshake offers from Gary Cahill, Willian, Cesar Azpilicueta, and Cesc Fabregas. (And those were just the ones we saw on the TV footage!)
The latter snub was especially surprising given the shared history between Cesc and Pep, though some sources, such as the mischievous Marca speculated afterwards that all was not well between the two former Barcelona stars.
Speaking today in his pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow's Champions League match against Celtic, Guardiola explained himself.
"I greeted Cesc Fabregas in the changing room, I didn't realise he was there on the pitch."

Riiiiiiight.
I mean, he only ignored several taps on the shoulder from Cesc and then literally pushed past him to get off the pitch. Perhaps in the cold light of day Pep has realized that his behaviour, just like his team's before the final whistle, was not exactly commendable.
