Chelsea loanee spectacularly denies title rivals Liverpool with last-minute winner

Nathan Ake, loanee, Gullit-lookalike, legend.

In only his third start for Bournemouth in the Premier League today, Ake scored an emphatic last-minute winner to cap off an excellent game of football between Liverpool and the Cherries.  The match swung from one extreme to the other, as Liverpool, after going up two goals with two swift attacks in the first half and Emre Can answering Callum Wilson's penalty strike with a belter from outside the box, ultimately could not withstand the incredible Bournemouth surge late in the game and lost 4-3.

Somewhat assisted by Loris Karius' butterfingers, here is Ake's winner.

Nathan Ake just might have a penchant for scoring goals against Liverpool. Two out of three of his senior career goals have come against them now! Two of Ake's senior career goals have also been winners, both coming this season.

More so, the youngster has helped deny one of our closest rivals in the title race of any points, which is absolutely wonderful.  Chelsea now lead both Liverpool and Manchester City by four points and Arsenal, who are suddenly in second, by three points!
