Kasey Palmer made everyone sit up and take notice of him a couple years ago when he was scoring spectacular goal after spectacular goal for the Chelsea youth teams, but as he's proving once again in his first foray into senior football, there's so much more to his game than just highlight-reel goals.
In fact, this highlight reel, put together by his loan club Huddersfield Town themselves, shows a player full of invention, vision, strength, and pace. By definition, highlight reels will showcase a player's best, but Palmer's 21 appearances (14 starts) speak to his importance in general to Town's promotion challenge. The 20-year-old has 4 goals and 3 assists to his name, but even when he's not on the scoresheet, like against Norwich City a couple weeks ago, he's showing he's a class above most of the rest.
"He was,in my opinion, outstanding. It was his night and the performance he put in [against Norwich City] was superb. It was extra class how he worked and how he played. With the ball and as part of our first line of defence he was very strong and focused."

Palmer's clearly got a good situation going on with the Terriers and their head coach — he's started 13 of their last 16 games — so hopefully that continues in the second-half of the season. Huddersfield last played top flight football in 1972 and their highest finish in the 21st Century has been 16th in the Championship achieved two seasons ago. They currently sit 5th and are firmly in the hunt for a playoff spot.
