Manchester City vs. Chelsea, Premier League: Half-time report

City up 1-0 with a goal just before half-time.

For all their trying, none of City's or Chelsea's forwards could produce a finish like Gary Cahill did just before half-time.  Trouble is, he produced it into his own net.  Why go with your right foot there, Gary?  Only he knows.

It's not that City hadn't been threatening, but to concede on an own goal is a bit maddening.  Almost as maddening as Eden Hazard passing up a chance to shoot at an open net (angle or no angle) and instead passing it back into the middle for an easy clearance.

So what now?

Chelsea probably weren't expected to win this game, but now we need a comeback.  Again.  Just like last week.  Except this time it's the other team who got the crucial goal before half-time.  Chelsea haven't been terrible, but have definitely been second best.  Will need to do better.

City don't look unbreachable.  Far from it.  Come on, Chelsea!
