It's Friday! And that means not only that Chelsea are playing in a little over 24 hours, but that it's for another edition of Chelsea Unseen! I know those two things aren't remotely of the same magnitude or impact, but it's been a fairly trying week in the world of football, and we could all use a bit of a break.
And so, here are a few more shots of training — most of this we've already seen in the training video released yesterday (though this does confirm that they were counting one-touch passes in the second exercise shown) — some shots of Batshuayi and Kanté signings things at the Megastore, and special guest appearances from not only Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola (who was doing all sorts of this around Chelsea in recent days) but a certain Fabrizio Ravanelli as well.
Ravanelli was Conte's teammate at Juventus in the mid-90s then later served as youth coach under the now Chelsea managers for a couple years from 2011 to 2013. They seem to be getting along just fine, which, if we were so inclined, does lend itself to some easy speculation with a coaching position set to be freeing up in the summer with Steve Holland's departure to the England setup.
