Chelsea could win every Premier League monthly award for November

It’s been a good month...

It’s been a tremendous month of November for the current Premier League leaders (that feels good to type again). After a perfect 3-0-0 record, Chelsea have been nominated in every major monthly award category that the league hands out.

Obviously when a club does well, the manager always gets the plaudits. It should come as no surprise that Antonio Conte, after winning the award for October, is once again one of four finalists for the league’s Manager of the Month award. Joining him are Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp, and David Moyes. Of the four, Conte’s team is the only one not to drop points during the month.

Pedro and Eden Hazard have made the nominee list for the best goal of the month. Pedro’s brilliant long range curler against Tottenham is one of the eight finalists, while Eden makes it for his mazy run and snap left-footed finish at the near post against Everton.

Finally, the big one. Both Pedro and Diego Costa are in contention for the Premier League Player of the Month award. (Eden Hazard won it in October, while Victor Moses just won the PFA Fans’ award yesterday.)

Pedro’s two goals and two assists in November have him in position to possibly pull off the double if he gets lucky enough to win both awards he’s nominated for. However, Costa also had two goals and two assists, so it’s just a matter of who the public and the voters thought was more impactful to their team’s success. Sergio Aguero, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Matt Phillips, and Jordan Pickford round out the six-man ballot.

The fan vote counts for 10 percent of the finally tally with a panel of Premier League experts and current club captains accounting for the other 90. Who do you think deserves it more?
