Chelsea players on international duty: Who, when, how to watch as Belgium take on the Netherlands

The third international break of the 2016-17 season is upon us, the final one this calendar year, thankfully, and it will be Belgium who get us started today, Wednesday, November 9, 2016.

Normally, we have to wait until Thursday to catch any Chelsea players in international action, but for whatever reason, Belgium decided to schedule this friendly with the Netherlands and since both teams also play on Sunday in actual World Cup qualifiers, they decided to hold this game on a Wednesday.  On the plus side, that means that Chelsea's trio will get a full week's worth of rest before the Premier League resumes the following weekend.

Netherlands vs. BELGIUM (Friendly)

When:  19:45 GMT; 2:45pm EST
Where:  Amsterdam Arena, Amsterdam, Netherlands
Who:  Eden Hazard (74), Thibaut Courtois (46), Michy Batshuayi (9)
How:  Chelsea TV (UK, int'l); beIN Sports (USA); elsewhere

Hazard will hand the captain's armband back to Vincent Kompany for this one (UPDATEOR NOT!).  Nice to see Michy get a call-up, too, despite his general lack of meaningful involvement with Chelsea.

Former Chelsea players Romelu Lukaku, Kevin De Bruyne, and Thorgan Hazard all got the call as well; meanwhile, the Dutch have their own pair of Chelsea alums in Arjen Robben and Jeffrey Bruma.

Should be a good one!  (Relatively speaking; it's just a friendly, and an international one at that.)
