Hardly skipping a beat despite a 3-0 half-time lead, Chelsea poured further misery onto the visitors, quickly turning dominance into a rout before sitting back a bit during the final 20-25 minutes. Certainly could've added a few more goals, but "just" five will have to do!
With Manchester City surprisingly dropping points earlier today, Chelsea are temporarily top of the league. Liverpool and Arsenal play tomorrow.
KTBFFH.
- Five wins in a row. Five clean sheets in a row. Sixteen goals during that run. Chelsea are now the top scorers in the Premier League with 26, and have the second-best defense with just 9 conceded.
- Final shot count: 20-1.
- Diego Costa scores his 9th, once again moving to the top of the goalscoring charts, one ahead of Aguero.
- Eden Hazard now has 7 goals on the season, 5 in his last 4. Even Marcos Alonso joined in on the fun!
- Chelsea top and guaranteed at least third by the end of the weekend.
- Carefree!
- (Alas, now it's international break time...)
