Possibly true story: my grandparents had a cherry(?) tree that died due to the radiation from Chernobyl. At least that's the story that I was told once. Maybe it just died and my grandfather thought it was a convenient excuse.
The Chernobyl disaster happened in 1986. Here's a song from 1996 that's got nothing to do with it at all, but it came on the radio just now and it reminded me of how much I like it. Sacramento's own!
