Pedro reveals Conte's half-time adjustments in Chelsea's comeback win over Spurs

While the turning point of the match on Saturday may have been Pedro's wonderful curling effort that brought Chelsea level late in the first-half, that goal alone probably would not have been enough to continue the winning streak.  Nor would it have been enough, more than likely, to change Antonio Conte's half-time message after Chelsea played much of the first-half on the back foot and looking distinctly second best to the highly energized visitors.

Talking after the game, Conte wasn't about to reveal too much of what may have gone at half-time — everyone assumes the proverbial hairdryer treatment of course — though he did hint at a few notable changes.

"After the first half we spoke and together we found the right solution to try to win the game. In the second half we exploited situations which we didn't in the first half."

What situations, you might ask?  Pedro shed some light on the adjustments Conte was looking for after the first 45 minutes.

"He told us to press high and concentrate between the lines. He told us to mark more aggressively and that was the most important thing. It was a good game for us and the supporters."

Chelsea's improved positive attitude was evident as soon as Michael Oliver blew his whistle to start the second half, and we didn't have to wait too long for the winning goal to be thumped home by Victor Moses.
