Antonio Conte plays down stern sideline exchange with Mauricio Pochettino

Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte spoke at length over his respect for (bordering on friendship with?) Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino ahead of Saturday's derby, so it was especially surprising to see the two of them involved in what was an odd-looking exchange on the touchline late on in Saturday's game.

Conte's evasive body language certainly wasn't that of a man having a friendly chat with his cross-town buddy, while Pochettino was clearly unhappy about something and seemed to be delivering a lecture of sorts, doling out some sage advice — perhaps something along the lines of Jose Mourinho's hurt feelings in his own 4-0 drubbing at Stamford Bridge?

Conte doubled down on the "nothing of importance" story in his post-match press conference.

So, Pochettino got a bit upset with one of Conte's assistants for one reason or another but apparently it's nothing important?

Well okay then...
