Chelsea loanee scores the best luckiest goal of the day for Vitesse on Saturday

Did he mean it?  Did he just get lucky?  Perhaps both?  It's certainly more of a chipping motion rather than a crossing motion from Lewis Baker on this goal, though he is inside the box already, so maybe he was just looking to chip towards his teammate running in at the far post.  Either way, this is a great goal.

Baker's goal gave Vitesse a 1-0 lead away from home, but as has been the team's habit for some time now, they gave up a late equalizer to Heerenveen to make it fives games without a win in the Eredivisie.  Vitesse had taken the lead in four of those games, losing one and drawing three.  Unsurprisingly, they've fallen out of the European playoff places to just a disappointing ninth after 13 games played.

Nathan started as well, but was hauled off after just 35 minutes.  Matt Miazga remained on the bench.

In unrelated, but better loanee news, Nathan Ake also scored a great goal today for AFC Bournemouth.  Bonus highlight!
